May 8, 2025 9:00 AM PST

Conscious breathing is one of the key elements of ongoing transformation. Centered breathing opens gateways of flow and aliveness. Creating a daily breathing practice will give you a body-centered connection to yourself that will ripple into your entire day. Our colleague Dean Yasuda will share with you three practices developed by Gay Hendricks that Dean has practiced daily for the past decade.

You will learn:

  • How to create a habit of centered breathing in your body.
  • The benefits of a daily breathing practice.
  • How to commit and recommit to your daily practice.

From back when Dean was surfing the waves of his birthplace, Oahu to his current work as a life and relationship coach, he has been attuned to energy flow. Learning the art of circulation is his passion and Dean brings whole body vitality to his clients as he opens up channels of energy flow through breath work and movement. Dean is certified by the Hendricks Institute as a Big Leap Coach and a graduate of their Leadership and Transformation Program. He is also a Certified Fitness Professional with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Combining fitness with Hendricks coaching techniques offers a unique opportunity for his fitness clients to build physical and emotional strength. From being a U.S.A.F. veteran to a stay-at-home parent, Dean learned to transition from one energy field to another, bringing his gentle spirit and strong nature. His love of life and learning brought him through many experiences, and created the powerful transformational coach that he has become today. Continuing his love of service, Dean volunteers monthly at Agape International Spiritual Center with their teen and young adult programs.
