New Choice
Pausing and making a new choice expands your sense of and interrupts unconscious patterns to allow for something new to emerge.
How to do it
- If you feel stuck or bored, pause and take a couple of relaxed, connected belly breaths.
- While you breathe in, allow your belly to expand like a balloon expanding.
- As you breathe out, allow the belly to fall gently towards the spine while you make a pleasant Hmm sound.
- Generate curiosity by asking yourself what new choice you might make.
- Gently move your body in pleasurable ways while you open to possibilities.
- When an idea comes, try on that new choice. Make it simple, such as changing your body posture or trying on a new gesture as you speak.
