New Choice

Pausing and making a new choice expands your sense of and interrupts unconscious patterns to allow for something new to emerge.

How to do it

  1. If you feel stuck or bored, pause and take a couple of relaxed, connected belly breaths.
  2. While you breathe in, allow your belly to expand like a balloon expanding.
  3. As you breathe out, allow the belly to fall gently towards the spine while you make a pleasant Hmm sound.
  4. Generate curiosity by asking yourself what new choice you might make.
  5. Gently move your body in pleasurable ways while you open to possibilities.
  6. When an idea comes, try on that new choice. Make it simple, such as changing your body posture or trying on a new gesture as you speak.
