Looping, Fanning and Focusing 11/8/23

Katie begins today’s practice on changing the lens of attention by using a fan to demonstrate how fans were used historically to shape attention, as in fanning and partially hiding, or snapping it closed to focus attention more pointedly. Next, Katie suggests imagining looking for a sock that got separated from its mate in a drawer as a way to play with directing focused attention and then allowing your attention to fan out in your body, and notice what opens up and weaves together. We practice fanning and focusing with internal sensations as well.

Every Monday Katie offers a practice to increase our capacity to give and receive love using the tools of Loop of Awareness and Love Scooping. Katie also introduces a practice from the Presence-Connect-Play app. Watch the video to learn more.
