Loving Attentiveness 11/20/23

Today Katie begins our practice by reading a wonderful quote from the poet Mary Oliver: “This is the first, the wildest and the wisest thing I know: that the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.” Katie shares one attentiveness practice—gathering your close awareness and letting your focus surround and be with someone or somewhere. Katie invites us to play with giving our attention in the open and loving way that we might with a baby; you might notice that your face and body relaxes, and then you can give that attention to yourself and notice what happens.

Every Monday Katie offers a practice to increase our capacity to give and receive love using the tools of Loop of Awareness and Love Scooping. Katie also introduces a practice from the Presence-Connect-Play app. Watch the video to learn more.
