Essence Pace to be Aware of you & Aware of Other

When we move at a pace that feels alive and connected, rather than a pace we learned from our family or culture, we have the opportunity to open our awareness of ourselves and others around us. The key is moving at a pace that allows you to be aware of you AND your surroundings at the same time.

How to do it

  • Find a safe space to explore walking at different paces (or you can use your hands for this exercise.)
  • Move/walk at different paces, such as super fast, and extremely slow, and notice at what pace you feel fully present.
  • Alternate fast and slow for a few rounds.
  • Begin to move at a pace that feels most alive and good in your body.
  • Notice what you are aware o around you when walking at your Essence Pace.
